Treasury Of Candles

Strategy, naming, brand identity and packaging for a luxury, hand made candle retailer.

Built around the core insight that candles make any moment more special and memorable, the brand idea is rooted in the concept of ‘Moments to Treasure’ which inspired the new brand name.

The brand mark is a foil blocked candelabra motif creating the signature T. The candelabra, a precious and treasured home for candles, felt a fitting symbol.

The launch range featured ring reveal candles and so the packaging had to reflect the promise of a real item to treasure and as such displays many luxury cues: The foiled glass candle jars are housed in a silk finished clam-shell gift box which parallels the format of luxury jewellery packaging. Each one is tied with an ombre print organza ribbon, foil blocked with the variant name.

We also created a set of brand imagery working with Photography by Anderson. to support the launch, showcasing the product range and elements on hand painted watercolour backdrops to capture the delicate qualities of the fragrances.
